Georgina Chapman has joined the ranks at Garrard to be their first guest designer since Jade Jagger left as creative director.The Marchesa designer will collaborate on a jewellery collection, to be launched during New York Fashion Week next September.
"I've always had an interest in jewellery," said the British-born Chapman. "I have a few pieces of jewellery, but I'm by no means Elizabeth Taylor."
Chapman plans to reference the company's archives for inspiration. The collection will be sold across Garrard stores, and will no doubt feature in Marchesa's spring 2010 collection.
