Jewelry Trends at New York Fashion Week

Bold, colorful, layered... all three words can be used to describe a large percentage of the jewelry seen around the tents at Bryant Park during this month's New York Fashion Week. Celebrity fashion-goers, like Mariska Hargitay and Tori Spelling, favored chunky necklaces, and flashy pieces were visible on the runway, too.

Sarah Jessica Parker has portrayed Sex and the City's Carrie Bradshow long enough to merge her own tastes into the character's style. Carrie is the more outrageous of the two, but Ms. Parker's influence steps in to show us a softer, vintage side of her well known character.
